Sunshine Press is currently seeking short
poems from authors of all ages around the world. If
you write from the heart, we'd like to hear from you.
Please submit your short poems of 20 lines or less by
mail or via the internet. Currently we're working on a
collection of general interest poems entitled
MILLENIUM POEMS.

The editors are accepting good/great poetry
from beginning as well as established writers. We are
particularly interested in previously unpublished and
beginning poets to offer them a chance for
publication in a prestigious, widely distributed
national showcase book. This is your chance for a
spot in the sun with Sunshine Press.

If your poem(s) should be accepted for
publication by Sunshine Press either in print in one
of our anthologies or on the internet with your own
web page in the International Poets Page, your
poetry will be copyrighted for your protection with
YOU retaining ALL RIGHTS to your work. No
portion of your poetry may be used or reprinted in
part or in whole without your written permission.

Do You Write What We're Looking For?

We seek to showcase the best talent. You're
invited to submit your poem(s) for a reading and
possible acceptance. Should we decide to publish
your poetry, you can be assured that your work
willbe highlighted in a quality hardcover book with
no more than 2 poems, and usually 1 poem, per
page, not crammed into small print and
overwhelmed by many other poems.

We believe there are few outlets today for
the new or beginning poet to get his or her work
recognized, and we're committed to providing a
quality medium in which your voice, your message,
and your talent can be hard. Our books emphasize
the poetry, not artwork, and not quantity at the
expense of quality.

For our current book, we're looking for
general themes: humorous, heartwarming,
philosophical, nature, history, personal ,
religious, wistful, sad, happy, whatever your
heart wants to say in your special way.
Sonnets, haiku, free verse, rhyming, and most
other short forms (20 lines or less) are

Should your poetry be accepted for
publication in any of our nationally recognized books
or web page, we welcome you to submit your
biography to accompany your poetry. See the
